What is hummer engines?

Hummer vehicles are equipped with two different types of engines - the V8 gasoline engine and the Duramax diesel engine.

The V8 gasoline engine is a 6.0-liter V8 engine that produces 325 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The V8 engine was used in the H2 and H2 SUT models.

The Duramax diesel engine is a 6.6-liter turbocharged V8 engine that produces 365 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Duramax engine was used in the H1 and later versions of the H2.

Both engines are known for their power and ruggedness, allowing Hummer vehicles to tackle tough terrain and tow heavy loads with ease. However, their fuel efficiency leaves something to be desired, which contributed to the discontinuation of the Hummer brand in 2010.
